Arrival from the Vienna International Airport (VIE)
There are several options for getting from the airport to the city, varying in price and speed.

Arrival from the airport directly to the museum
- By public transportation (circa one hour):
- Train REX 7 or S7 or S2 or CAT to “Wien Mitte-Landstraße Bahnhof”
- Subway U4 to “Hietzing”
- Tramway 10 or 60 to “Penzinger Straße”
- It takes about 40 minutes to drive from the airport to the museum.
Parking at the museum
Parking by car:
Next to the museum, there is a paid garage—entrance Linzer Straße (DoubleTree by Hilton Vienna Schönbrunn)—with a reduced fee for our visitors: € 2.20 instead of € 3.20 per parking hour. Please contact our information desk at the entrance to get a discount on the parking ticket!
Parking with coaches and cars:
Parking is available in the parking lot opposite Schönbrunn Palace.
Electric vehicles:
Charging stations are located near the museum at Linzer Straße 5.
Barrier-free pitches:
Two public barrier-free parking spaces are available in front of the main entrance at Mariahilfer Straße 212.
